🛡️ 4-Vocation Dungeon (PvPvE)
The 4-Vocation Dungeon is the most strategic PvPvE content in Oblema.
You can only enter with a perfect party of 4 vocations:
1 Sorcerer
1 Druid
1 Paladin
1 Knight
This is not a regular hunt.
It is a timed challenge, with invasions and web rankings that record your performance.
🏰 How to Enter
Form a party of exactly 4 players, one of each vocation.
The entry is controlled by a lever in Thais (near the dungeon area).
Each player pays an entry fee of 20,000 gold.
All 4 party members must be standing correctly and be in the same party.
When the lever is pulled, the team is teleported inside, magic walls close the exit, and the official timer starts.
🕷️🔥❄️ Monster Waves
Inside the dungeon, there are 3 monster waves, always on the same map but in a random order:
Wave of Giant Spiders
Wave of Dragon Lords
Wave of Frost Dragons
Key rules:
Monsters do not respawn naturally; only the event spawns them.
When your team clears a wave:
You get a message about your progress.
The next wave starts after 5 seconds.
When all 3 waves are cleared, all players receive a message:
“You have finished all waves. The final boss will spawn in 5 seconds.”
👑 Final Boss & Rewards
After completing the 3 waves, a final boss appears (Demodras or The Old Widow, depending on configuration).
If, when the boss dies, only the original party is inside the dungeon:
The run is valid for the time ranking.
Each member of the main team receives a special boss reward.
If, when the boss dies, there is more than one party inside:
No one receives any reward.
The run does not count for the time ranking.
After a successful kill:
Players can stay inside for a while to loot and regroup.
Three minutes after the dungeon is completed, any player still inside the dungeon area is automatically teleported back to their temple.
⚔️ Invasion System (Real PvPvE)
While the main party is running the dungeon, another full 4-vocation team can enter and invade.
If defenders and invaders are inside at the same time, the dungeon is considered “invaded”.
If the invaders manage to stay as the only remaining team inside (all defenders die or leave):
Each invader gains 1 “Invader win”.
The run is no longer valid for the time ranking.
The original party receives 1 defender loss in the defender ranking.
If the opposite happens (invaders are defeated and only the original party remains):
Each defender gains 1 “Defender win” for successfully defending their run.
The invaders receive 1 “Invader loss”.
The dungeon can still be completed normally and can still count for the time ranking if the boss is killed under the correct conditions.
⏱️ Anti-Exploit: Time Penalties
To prevent “friendly” teams from entering just to boost your damage and help you get unrealistically low times, the dungeon has time penalties:
For each monster where an invader (or their summon) contributes significant damage,
the dungeon adds +10 seconds of penalty to the final time.
At the end of a successful run, players see:
Base time used to clear the dungeon.
Penalty time gained from invader assistance.
Total time (base + penalty) used for the ranking.
If the boss dies while two parties are present, no rewards are given and no time is recorded.
🏆 Dungeon Rankings
The 4-Vocation Dungeon feeds into three different rankings on the website:
Time Ranking
Shows the best total times (base time + penalties).
Only counts if the boss is killed and only the original party remains inside at the end.
Defender Ranking
Tracks how many times a player has successfully defended their dungeon run against invaders.
Also records defender losses when the original party loses the dungeon to another team.
Invader Ranking
Tracks how many times a player has invaded and taken control of the dungeon.
Also records invader losses when invaders fail.
🔍 Dungeon Status Indicator
On the map there is a visual indicator for the dungeon state:
Icon for no team inside (dungeon is free).
Icon for 1 team inside (active run, no invaders).
Icon for 2 teams inside (high-risk PvPvE environment).
This allows players to see at a glance whether the dungeon is empty, occupied, or currently being contested.
